Born in genoa in 1976, I moved to Scotland at the age of ten and then back to italy to graduate in Political economics. In Milan I started my photojournalistic career becoming proffessional in 2002 when I started working for various Italian national agencies and covering news politics and social features for all major national dayly and periodical magazines as well as some international publications.
In 2006 I decided to move to London where I achieved a Master with Distiction in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, was assistant to Paul Lowe and developed a different documentary style to complete a story on Lebanon's war aftermath and a year long project on drug addicts in London's Elephant and Castle neighbourhood called Mainliners. The first gained various recognitions in festivals like AOP Awards London, Perpignan's Visa Pour Image, Dutch Norderlicht Photofestival and others. The second is part of a permanent historical archive in the Cumings Museum, has been featured in various exhibitions in London such as the Home and Photomonth Photography Festival and has been part of various drug prevention campaigns in Britain.
I've been working with Anzenberger since 2007, who have helped me publish in various international magazines since.
I have moved to Brussels where I reside since January 2008, developing an insight into video and moving images.
